The release will feature the complete History and Geography sessions along with the remastered How I Spent My Vacation E.P., originally released in 1981. The release also features a written piece by Mike DeCapite with interviews from the band and his take on the times and music. The tapes were tracked down over the course of months by original Ubu member and H&G drummer Scott Krauss and Exit Stencil’s Ryan Weitzel. The tapes were baked, digitally converted and remixed at Exit Stencil Studios, then remastered at Suma in Painesville OH. See all Reader Reviews Pere Ubu's Rhythym section - a bit closer to saccharine trust than Pere Ubu at times - but this rec is fantastic - I wish they had included the Hideout 12", which has a better version of King John - instead of the Vacation EP .. but the extras are appreciated anyway.
