Reader Reviews This collection showcases how Perry was not afraid to reach out to the newest, most radical talent that he could find at the time (especially the wonderful I-Roy and Dennis Alcapone), and blend them in perfectly with the music he was making with the Upsetters. Perry's style is evloving on his dubs on this cd- the early uses of echoplexes and other studio gadgets make for very fascinating listening, and while they are not as radical as dubs he would be doing in a few short years after these recordings, they nevertheless are startlingly fresh for its time. This collection is brimming with nuggets of pure Perry gold, and is highly reommended. From the relatively straight to his Solar flights of fancy with I-Roy, this cd covers it all. Delicious.
