This collection contains a lot of great 1960`s pop melodies, competently produced and performed by Peter Asher and Gordon Waller. Some may find their cover versions of songs by artists like The Everly Brothers or Buddy Holly a little too polished compared to the originals. Even though this is generally well-produced 60`s pop, my objection is that the arrangements are too similar and therefore lacking excitement. So after 29 songs, you don`t feel like hearing more for quite some time! Anyway there are a lot of great songs here: "I Go To Pieces" ( Del Shannon ), "Woman"(McCartney), "The Flower Lady" (Ochs), "A World Without Love" (Lennon/McCartney), "Pretty Mary"(Paul Stookey), "Nobody I Know"(Lennon/McCartney), "Soft as The Dawn" (Asher/Waller), "True Love Ways" ( Buddy Holly ) - all great stuff!
