first off, let's look at the facts, at the beginning of their carreer papa roach were a nu-metal band up until a year or so ago. now since nu-metal lost it's popularity and the "in" thing is to be a modern mediocre rock band papa roach decided to follow the trend. my friend likes good music such as iron maiden, metallica, the rolling stones a bit, green day (who are overrated), led zeppelin. this is his favorite band which is retarted. why, I ask you, does music so bad deserved to be glorified? these guys apparently had two months of practice then they quit their lessons and formed this crappy band. the reason these guys suck is because they didn't practice enough to know how to make good music. it's not just the writing here that sucks, these guys (especially the singer) couldn't do anything musically good if thier life depended on it. I heard these guys covering Lithium (a nirvana song) and if you heard it, even if you hate nirvana, you have to admit that the papa roach version is eternally worse. how 'bout some real music like iron maiden (who i am listening to right now)? the problems with music nowadays is that it mainly sucks or is just mediocre or generic.
