In Sides
Reader Reviews "In Sides" is worth purchasing for Disc 2 alone. Those 5 meager songs - the first 2 being the same song, 1 live and 1 studio recording - are worth the full cost of the whole shebang. "Satan" is nauseating to your inherrent sense of aesthetics, and if it isn't, we would probably get on splendidly. But I digress, bearing a tolerance of your first few servings of this, you should find it takes on the form of Kudzu creeping over the ears: a comforting strangulation. You may even find yourself playing it in an awkwardly silent room of people looking for something to say. This will jolt someone into some kind of action. Watch. "The Saint" and "The Sinner" are perfect complimentary pieces to follow the demonsong. They weild a very Spy vs. Spy countenance, in context of each other. The coupling also serves as a generic-brand saltine inbetween the Cabarnet Sauvignon. Now sit back for a groovy & upbeat, sittin' in the back seat, just gettin' in out of the heat journey. This is "Halcyon". This is a live recording from New York, so says the disc itself. This track is also a lucky catch, historically speaking. It proves to be a perfect 8 minutes 43 seconds. Enjoy it. Listen closely to the layers of this mix. It conjurs a mental picture of the symbol for infinite. It is both mind-blowingly simple and mind-blowing in the same blow. If you used "Satan" to catch the attention of your company, play this as an apology. No...a redemption. I won't give away the ending. But, hear this: Buy this album. Nourish your soul.
