Halcyon CD SINGLE
Reader Reviews This came out in 1992, and served as a stopgap between the Green and Brown albums. In the UK, these tracks came out on the Radiccio single (which had about 10 or so differing formats), and in the US, we got this single, which compiles almost all of the tracks that appeared on the various Radiccio releases (except the longer version of Deeper that shows up on the Japanese version). Halcyon is just like Halcyon+on+on off the Brown album, only it's longer (due to some instrumental breaks mostly), and has the strange noise that appears on Walk Now.../Walkabout (it bringsup the image of something popping up, I don't know why). The Naked and the Dead has a jungle-like theme to it, with a vocal sample saying 'the na-a-ked and the dead' over and over. This track would have fit in better with the first album. The dub is mainly an extended version. Sunday is probably the best song on here, with a very dark tone to it. It would fit in nicely on the Brown Album, but as far as I can tell, has nothing to do with Monday off that album. The radio edit of Chime is nice, but not really much to it. This is a great pick-up if you can find it, but availability comes and goes.
