Mr. Falkner walks a fine line transforming classic Beatles songs into children's lullabies. What is more amazing is that the transformation actually works and works well.For those Beatle-eletists who think that any remake of the bands work is blasphemy,I say to thee listen carefully before passing judgement. When I originally purchased this for my daughter,I did so because I did not want just any old lullaby music for her to fall asleep to.You must first look at each song as a lullaby first,Beatles classic second. Each song was done with the utmost care and respect for the original piece. I being a music lover love this disc as much as it calms my daughter for night time slumber. It it very easy to catch yourself humming or singing along with these instumentals. It wins in both categories as lullaby and soft,elegant instumental cover. Difinately a win-win situation for me, it something nice and familiar for me to listen and as well as good songs I would like my daughter to be introduced to and familiar with in such material masquraded here as lullaby songs.
