Bella Rap Real Talk Review, January 29, 2005
On his third album Real Talk, Fabolous has found the perfect mix of street and R&B. This album was executive produced by Clue, Ken "Duro" Ifill, and Skane. The first single, "Breathe" was an instant hit. The follow-up single, "Baby" featuring Mike Shorey is a radio friendly song. Mike Shorey and Fab really make good collabo's and this song is quickly climbing the charts. Mike Shorey also appears on the track "Young & Sexy," a hot song that also features Pharrell. Fab is a loyal artist and continues to work with artists that compliment his skills. Lil Mo appears on the track "Holla At Somebody Real." Lil Mo gave Fab a big break when she put him on her track "Superwoman." The intro "Exodus" by Black Ice is a track that will make you think, but it will also make you hit skip and head straight to the track "Don't Stop, Won't Stop." This song has a driving beat and awesome production. This is a nice song. Real Talk is a good album, but like past Fab albums, some tracks seem too much like filler, like album tracks that you could live without. One song that stands out and has hit written all over it is "Girls." Reminiscence of Jay Z's "Girls, Girls, Girls," Fab gives a shout out to all kinds of girls from all kind of places. Keep your ears open for "Can You Hear Me," "It's Alright," and "In My Hood," these tracks are hot. Overall, Fabolous' third album is really good. The production is good and Fab, well Fab is just fabulous.

Wow!, January 31, 2006
Okay, I bought this album last March because I was going on a long trip and wanted something to listen to. I wasn't sure how good it would be because I hadn't heard any of the songs before I purchased it. I picked it up, put it in my cd player, and started listening to it and was blown away. Every song was fire and showed an artist with some real potential to fulfill. Now I know this is his third album, but I feel that he could still get better. All of the beats are very good, with Breath having one of the best beats I have ever heard and Fab spitting some incredible lyrics. Other highlights include Don't Stop, Won't Stop, Can You Hear Me, and PoPo. Can You Hear Me has some great lyrics and is one of my favorites on this cd. I highly recommend this cd, as well as Fab's other albums.

Step It Up!!, January 3, 2006
As with Twista after Kamikaze, i expected big things from Real talk after the very solid 'Street Dreams'. However this was not the case. This has it's standout tracks like Ghetto and It's Alright with Sean Paul but too be honest your not really missing much if u don't get this. On Street Dreams the guests were very good but the ones on here are a let down. Too much Pharell! Damn he annoys me. Also when is he gonna ditch Paul Cain man he does nuttin for ya and Black Ice who? Most rappers talk about girls, money and drugs. But he adds cars to the list of useless material in songs. I don't usually feel that the singles are the best on the album but with this album, Breathe is one of the standout tracks. Step it up man! 3/5 at max. Top 5: Ghetto It's Alright Breathe Can You Hear Me In My Hood

Fabolous - Real Talk, January 2, 2006
This is a type of mainstream rap. But I think theres a couple tracks on this album worth the listen. Like the ones in my Top 4. I dont have a top 5, so its 4 on this one. He has an alright flow. But aint feelin the mainstream tracks haha. Production wise, this album does pretty good, Lyric wise, not that great, but decent. If you like mainstream, you should like this album. My Top 4 Songs 1.Breathe 2.In My Hood 3.Ghetto 4.Popo

Since his "Ghetto Fabolous", all Fabolous is been doing is improving his lyrics! "Streat Dreams" hit the streets and he was a multi platinum rapper. "Real Talk" is a great party/gangsta rap type album. Standout Tracks are: Tit 4 Tat Breathe In My Hood It's Ghetto Dont' Stop, Won't Stop

Really Real, November 19, 2005
Brooklyn's Fabolous returns for the third album Real Talk, where it's actually album number four if you consider the mix tape as an album. The opener "Exodus" performed by Black Ice describes the industry and what artists go through just to make it in the business. "Don't Stop Won't Stop" speak of how he do with his lifestyle and in his rhymes over a laid back track. With a sporadic organ chords, Fabolous speak of how rappers / emcees need to live their lives as they do in their rhymes in "Real Talk (123)".Spelling it out, Fabolous claims "Gangsta" and what his name would get for you in the streets. "Baby" featuring Mike Shorey is a good mainstream party jam as he makes attempts to make some lady his baby. On the Caribbean type "Girls" as he proclaims himself the King of all types. Fab gets into a sermon with Charlie Murphy on "Church". He speaks of the death of friends and others in stories on "Can You Hear Me" as he begins two of the three verses excerpts from 2pac and The Notorious B.I.G. For a dirtier feeling southern track with deep horns, "Do The Damn Thang" featuring Young Jeezy is a good addition on this LP. As he keeps it commercial for the ladies, he's admitting to what he's looking for on "Holla At Somebody Real" featuring Lil Mo. Back to the club with a dance tune "It's Alright" featuring Sean Paul. "Breathe" is addictive with more street lyrics as he addresses the haters. "In My Hood" goes hard as this could be a good tune for the radio as Nas' "I Can". Real Talk has everything an album should have from the commercial to the streets to the club to reality tales.
