I'm really kicking myself for not having picked this up sooner. I bet some of the kvlt black metallers are scoffing at the incredible production, but I'm sure there will come a day when they won't feel ashamed to admit that they've secretly loved it the entire time. 'Attera Totus Sanctus' would make the perfect soundtrack for the war scene at the beginning of Bram Stoker's Dracula. The guitar tones paint warm, dark colors on a canvas of tank treads that are advancing and enveloping everything in their fiery path. The drums are as clear as explosions on a battlefield, while the vocals billow in chastising plumes that float above the merciless battery that is going on all around you. 'Attera Totus Sanctus' unfolds in waves of majestic violence that sweep you through the blasting fury of a raging war. '666 Voices Inside' will surely haunt you throughout the day as the melody continuously plays within your mind, while songs like 'Godhate' and 'Angel Flesh Impaled' are hatefilled missiles that are sure to inadvertantly induce excessive speeds while operating a motor vehicle. 'Final Ritual' is the perfect climax for this intense, violent album. My suggestion is to cross someone off of your holiday shopping list and treat yourself to some blazing fury.
