This is a mediocre paula Abdul album. There are various parts of various tracks that I like about this album. It does sound quite funky in places. There is some good funk songs "Spellbound" with it's great guitar riff, "U" and "Too You", and some great and pretty soul ballads "Blowing Kisses In The Wind", "Rush,Rush" and "Will You Marry Me". "Alright Tonight" is a great fun party style song, and one of my favourites. I personally preffered her debuet "Forever Your Girl" and found that a much more solid production, but i'm sure this album will grow on me. Good songs include "Rush Rush" "Will You Marry Me" "Blowing Kisses In The Wind" "Alright Tonight" "Promise Of A new Day" Mediocre songs are "Spellbound" "Rock House" "U" "Too You" "My Foolish Heart" - Good Vocals. I think this one will grow on me, and become a fave soon. I feel that "Vibeology" didn't sound right, and had an annoying vocal point somewhere in the middle, where they all sing in high voices. The album could've done without this track. Overall this is a good album, typical of early 1990's albums. It was produced and released in 1991. It is mainly all dance, but if you like that era of music, then this album is for you. I reccomend it. It is the type of album that you put on when youre bored and need a change of music. Altough not on the top of of my album list, it was interesting to try, and i will probably be playing it again. It has some unusual and pretty good cover art. You can tell this was the phase in Paula's career when she was really evolving and experimenting. I think it's worth the price. If you enjoy this album I reccomend her 1988 debuet "Forever Your Girl".
