Reader Reviews Alan Parsons was assistant engineer on The Beatles "Let It Be" and "Abbey Road" which was only the beginning of his career. He later was the engineer of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of The Moon". Additionally, he produced the album "Year of The Cat" by Al Stewart. Obviously he has impressed many with his engineering talents and he rose to the top to form The Alan Parsons Project (with partner Eric Woolfson) in 1975. I was taken in by this progressive rock group around 1980 and had some catching up to do after hearing the albums "Tales of Mystery..." and "I Robot" then the song 'What Goes Up' from "Pyramid" on a Charlotte AOR station. As a result, I just couldn't get enough of TAPP in the '80s. "Pyramid" is the work of brilliant engineering and an ear pleasing blend of rock and electronic wizardry. Highlights here include the before mentioned plus 'Voyager', 'The Eagle Will Rise Again', 'Can't Take It With You', 'Pyramania' and 'Hyper-Gamma Spaces'. This is good headphone music for sure and my favorite Parsons album.
